Roundtable Discussion - Topics included:  New possible directions for our organization including expansion to Delaware and the rest of the state.  Presentation of rough draft of proposed industry standards for title search and examinationPlease come with any other ideas you would like to discuss regarding the industry or Association.

Guest Speaker:  Jack Milne of Tri-County Inspection.  President & Founder of the Pennsylvania Home Inspectors Coalition.  Former President of the Tri-State American Society of Home Inspectors.

Jack will be discussing everything you need to know about home inspectors and discussing some upcoming proposals to change state law regarding home inspectors.

Hidden Agenda:  We will be discussing the possibility of establishing our own industry standards similar to those of ASHI.

Topic:  Elder Law and Title Insurance.  We will have several speakers discussing areas such as Trusts, Reverse Mortgages, and Capacity Issues as they affect our industry.

This is an accredited seminar put together in conjunction with the PLTA and is good for either to CE or CLE credits.

Guest Speaker:  Lisabeth Patch of Old Republic's 1031 Exchange Company (OREXCO) will be discussing the details of 1031 exchanges. "This session will de-mystify the 1031 exchange for you.  Learn how to identify potential exchanges to increase your business and discover what exactly happens during an exchange from start to finish."

Guest Presenter:  Representative from NavTeq will be demonstrating GPS and GIS technology used in conjunction with mapping and surveying.

Regular Monthly Meeting
Guest Presenters:  Harold and Dave from Simplifile will be demonstrating their program for Level 2 recording which is currently used to record about 20% of the documents in Lancaster County.  Simplifile is working with several other counties in the Philadelphia area that will be enabling Level 2 recording in the coming months.
